Responsibilities

1. The Eco Technician provides timely and accurate non-invasive cardiac ultrasound testing and transoesophageal echo studies as required approved protocols and procedures
2. Know and adhere to the principles of Echocardiography, including technical factors, equipment function, transducer selection, patient care and safety
3. Setting up and calibrate echocardiography equipment before each procedure to ensure accurate diagnostic images
4. Must be able to communicate with medical/technical personnel and patients
5. Maintain patient confidentiality and document test results and final reports in the patient’s medical records
6. Provides high quality patient care considering age specific, developmental and cultural needs through competent practice and application

Requirements

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiac Care Technology

Experience: Min 2 years of Experience as Echo technician/ Cardiac Technician in UAE

License: DHA/ DHA Eligibility letter

Languages: Excellent command of oral and written English
